Fully charged last night - I'll see if I can get this done tonight.

Thanks!

By testing all the batteries, you will have something to compare the 2 questionable ones to.

Guess I need to hold off on the long travel until I figure out whats up with the battery pack, and budget for a new charger. Would love to get one of your onboards, but trust me - as muddy, dirty, funky as my buggy gets when we're out hunting - I think I need an offboard charger!

Okay, SG tester was shot so no readings there, but here is what I got last night. Tested every 15 minutes and then 20 minutes on last run. Total distance was about 20 miles, but this was on flat pavement, lots of slow downs for the stop signs and turns.

Last 20 minutes was done with headlights running off batteries 1 and 2.

They look ok to me at 80 minutes. Do you have a SOC meter or gauge on the cart? If not now is a good time to get one of the meters (analog 36v or digital 36 & 48v) I have on sale now.
A good hydrometer or spectrum analysis would show any weak cells and give you an even better picture of their health.

Yes - digital SOC in the dash. The pack charge listed was taken from that about 30 seconds after stopping each run, and verified with the Fluke on the pack itself.

Is 80 mins about a normal runtime? I would say about 75-85% of that was pedal down. The rest was slow downs and take offs from the corners. Did my best to keep the pedal floored as much as possible without flipping

Did get a LOT of strange looks from some of the neighbors as I whizzed by them and waved for the 20th time

100 minutes of run time is good for a battery pack. But your extra 2 should give you additional time. but in your test you did not run all the way down to say 50% so you had more run-time left. What was the lowest reading that you saw on the meter during your draw-down test?

At WOT, toward the end of the test, it was reading about 46-46.5 I think.

Thanks for all of the help Scotty!! When I finished the test, it was still pulling pretty good and seemed to have life left in it - just didn't want to completely drain them. From the "feel", I think i could have gone at least another 15-20 minutes, and quite possibly longer.
