Thanks for the reply Kernal.
I'm really not planning on doing any off roading so this one will more then likely do what I need in the end. I just see all these newer pretty souped up ones here on BGW and I start getting all hot for a newer model.
I did some looking around today on different suppliers web sites and see I can get almost everything "I think" I need.
One thing I haven't done yet is check out one of those batterys yet. I did get a charger with the cart...So tonight I better get to looking at them and see what I need to do to get them back in shape......or replaced at worst.

sounds like you have a plan. as for newer ones, yours can be made to look and run just as snazzy as them. check out the carts in the marathon owners forum. also, the carts unlimited site is a lot of good info about batteries. if you are going to stay with the orig. resistor set up, many good parts are available in the parts for sale forum that came from upgrades, like was mentioned earlier. good luck

I did a quick check of all the batterys this morning.
All between 5.84 and 5.95...ish. I don't think thats a good sign.
I gota get these things on the charger, and time to start reading up in that battery section.

Check out this battery state of charge table. Your batteries are in a very low state of charge and need to re charged ASAP to stop the damage this may do to them.

Finally in the shop for the rear seat frame to be made and body paint.
Then it's off to get the rear seat made and final pin strips and flames.

I hope a few guys will chime in here and help me out with the rear end sag I’m having. I don’t want to lift the cart, but now with the rear seat if anybody sits back there the rears going to be dragging the ground and rubbing the tires for sure.
Short of a lift is there a way to help lift this up some or make a bump stop so the extra weight won’t drag the rear end?
Any ideas?
