Default I want to run lights & radio so...

Ok so I want to run lights & radio on my cart and I know I need a voltage reducer right? Ok so my question is which one should I use? Whats recommended and or the best item for the bucks. Not looking to spend an arm & leg just want lights, music and some under carriage lights.
Thanks for any help.

Do it right and do it once. Get a 25 amp reducer from one of our fine site sponsors.

It never stops at lights and a stereo.....

It is not a must but you batteries will get out of balance and need to be charged separately to re-balance. If you are not going to use an audio amp a 10 amp reducer will serve you well.

You better log out now and never come back. This is how it starts out but you will want more and more and more if you read and look around at the carts and mods.

Trust me I know, this is just the latest forum I've joined LOL I belong to pwctoday currently have 11 skis, I belong to the ford turck forum (2012 F250) I belong to a bike forum (HD) and rv/camper forum (toy hauler). Trust me I know am addicted to toys lol, but I know there is always a less expensive way to do things than just go and buy the 1st thing or reccomendation. Thats why I ask

I already got a lift kit, rear seat, 12" rims w/22" tires, the body is getting painted to match my truck and the rims match my 20" w/35" tires on my truck

Assuming you get headlights like a lot of us have, they are 55 watts each, or 110 watts for both. There's nearly 10 amps. Radio, tail lights, under carriage lights, dome light, 12 volt power plug, subwoffer amp, etc.

Go for Gornoman's advice and get 25 amps.

I have my lights , and stereo hooked into the first battery, I then have a spare battery in the back cargo to run my amp, I have had no reducer and it's been this way for 2 years now.

I thought about using a 12v battery just for the lights & radio and keep a battery tender on it when not in use.
