Freedom RXV vs. 2five
Ok this may be a crazy question but I was wondering. I was looking at a 2five yesterday and it looks just like my RXV beside some bolt on items. Even the big front bumper is just screwed into an RXV bumper that's behind it. With that being said, if the 2five will run 25mph why won't my Freedom RXV?? Has to be a way for this to be done right?

Re: Freedom RXV vs. 2five
The place I bought my RXV said that it would run around 25 mph with stock tires, but they are not allowed by law to set them over 19.5. In most states I believe, at least I know in Indiana, anything that runs over 20 mph must be equipped with seat belts, licensed, registered at bmv, etc.
I found it quite ridiculous since the owner can do mods etc. that make it run well over 20 mph and that is acceptable. |

Re: Freedom RXV vs. 2five
The RVX and the 2FIVE can be reprogrammed to go faster. Finding someone willing to do it might be a different matter.

Re: Freedom RXV vs. 2five
I also just checked on some specs Where the stock RXV has 16.99:1 gears the stock 2five has 14.76:1, just that could be the difference in the speed. I would love to add a 2five front bumper to my RXV but I haven't seen one for sale anywhere.

Yea me too. We also have an older gas CC and it not ever close. How do you like that 2five? Does it pull well with those gears?

Re: Freedom RXV vs. 2five
I love my 2FIVE. I can climb any hill at top speed. It never even slows down. It's such a huge change from my '07 E-Z-GO. Can't say enough good about the 2FIVE and the support I've had from E-Z-GO.

Re: Freedom RXV vs. 2five
the major diff b/t the 2 is the programming.
and yes anything over 19.5 mph sold by a dealer has to be considered street legal. Now what you do after you get it home is up to you. |
