JohnnyB thanks for that schematic and all the good info. The guy who owns this cart says the cart ran as wired but after looking at the schematic I see a problem because A2 off the controller is wired to Motor A2 an also a wire running to top connection on F/R switch. M- is running to lowest connection on F/R instead of motor A1 like the schematic shows. I have seen so many different variations of schematics and wiring diagrams along with different controller combinations that I am really confused if this cart could have really run as wired or if the schematic is different for this cart. Also on the schematic above the F/R switch connections are shown as A B C D but can someone chime in and tell me what side B and D are? I am going to have to pull the wires off this cart tomorrow and verify continuity on the F/R switch. I guess I will have to rewire it as shown in the schematic but im worried that something my fry...if it already hasnt lol.

Cmar the F&R schematics are typically drawn viewed from the rear of the cart.. this is logical as that is all you can see.
Don't fret much about swapping the 9 and the 3 o'clock positions they just reverse the direction.

Whiskey what are you doing in this thread?
And what in the world have you got there?
I have not seen a solenoid attached to an F&R before? ... and you have no micro switches like the new one? Can you post a pick of the whole battery bay showing all the components? The switch I sent fit Ezgo 1971 and up with some slight micro switch changes.

PS I could see the burnt buss bars in your switch in the pic you posted so I think we are on the right path.

Get pics and post em.

Actually the switch has the same housing etc.
You have some custom wiring going on there. We need to see it.
