Default Re: I think I need a new controller???

Apparently a previous owner converted a DCS cart to a series cart.

If the black cover on the controller is 6.85" long, it is a Curtis 1204 (275A) or if it is 8.85", it's a 1205 (400A)

It appears the the original F/R microswitch is being used, so you can either transfer that function over to the microswitch on the new F/R assembly or leave as is.

Does the Reverse beeper work? (Or even exist - it was inside the pot-metal hockey puck)
The other microswitch on the new assembly is for the reverse beeper.

Of course, I might be wrong about this, I'm just guessing.

That's the first time I have seen that. Just strip down the new F&R until you have what you need.
It looks like that is what they did. Should work good ....

The reverse beeper works good by I have it disconnected. I will measure the controller tonight. I went through the whole cart again last night an nothing, just the click at the solenoid when depressing the Go pedal. I jakes the rear tires off the ground an jumped/bypassed the solenoid and still nothing. Do u really think swapping in the new FnR will fix it? I have continuity threw the current FnR... This thing is running me crazy trying to figure out where the problem lies. Thx again for the help.

I don't think it's the FnR switch.
