owners manual for 1998 dcs txt

hi guys, I just bought a 98 ezgo dcs last friday model f198 serial 1092878 and have been trying to read all the information I can about it and maybe answering some of the questions I have before posting but I think I may have already screwed up.
I didn't get any paperwork or manuals for it, not surprising for a 15 year cart.
anyway with my searching online for a manual I finally found one but failed to bookmark the site and now can't find it again?
can anybody point me to a downloadable owners manual for this model.
I didn't know anything about a tow/maint switch and may have damaged the controller by removing the battery cables and cleaning them without putting switch into maint. position? after charging the cart and driving about 1/4 mile the controller and celinoid were hot and the cart will no longer move.
man where is the spell ckeck, I need it bad.

Are you sure you got all of the pos. & Neg. hooked up correctly? It does sound like there might be some controller issues

I only took one cable off at a time, cleaned and replaced it. so I'm sure I got them back in the right place.
after seeing what shape they are in I decided I would order a new set of cables, probably from scottyb, maybe today.

thats just what I was looking for.
I had gone to the bennett site but the link to the 1998 year was dead.
now I can start to study this to see what I can learn.
I know I already have a thousand questions, maybe I can answer most of them with this manual but I'm sure I'll have many more for y'all.
