2008 RXV Electric - Will not move in forwards or reverse

Hi - new here and need some help.

Just picked up a 2008 EXGO RXV Electric last week. All was well.

Drove it last night - no problems. Go to get on it this morning and it will not move.

You move the key to R and the buzzer sounds, hit the gas pedal and you hear this minor "thump" from the solenoid/controller and that is it. Nothing in F. It does not move at all. I flicked the Tow switch back and forth - nothing. Full charge on new batts.

I know NOTHING about these golf carts, however I am an automotive technician so if someone can steer me in the right direction I can get this thing fixed.

Update:

The solenoid - 2 large wires, 2 small wires.

I jumped the 2 small wires, heard a click from the rear motor and now it moves.

I assume solenoid?

Is that a common problem?

Well I put a solenoid on it and that didnt fix it.

Doing it again.

Any suggestions or anything to check?

Trying to find a wiring diagram now but I'm not having any luck.
