Default Solenoid stays pulled in

Like it says up top. But the cart runs and drives with a green light on the alltrax.

Turn the switch off and it goes off.

Checked microswitch and it opens and closes with the pedel.

Theres a diode think it could be bad? The solenoid gets hot to the touch just sitting still. Any ideas?

Sounds like a stuck closed micro switch (ms). Check the F&R ms and then the peddle box ms.

Its a pds carts btw.

Does a pds cart have a forwars reverse ms?

I also checked the microswitch under the floormat and it seems ok.

I dont think its a bad solenoid would it? I can cut the key switch off and it will open.

PDS cart with a DCX or a NCX, so about the only things that will keep the solenoid energized is a bad pedal switch or a bad controller.

Since the solenoid de-energizes when the key is shut off, I'm leaning towards the pedal switch being bad or the wiring to/from it being shorted together.

Flip the Run/Tow to Tow and unplug J4 (cable from pedal box) from the PDS to DCX adapter and measure between Pins 1 & 2 with an Ohmmeter.
Should be open with pedal up and closed with pedal down.
