I first started "over there", got sick of the BS. I try not to ever be that way. Funny, my posts there stopped when my first post here started. We were all noobs at one time, be it fourms (me), or golf carts and electronics (been at it for a few days ).

Back to the original question.

42V is not one of the voltages the Stanley GBCPRO charges at.
Nor does it do individual 8V batteries.

I've had a Stanley charger. It did ok on a 36v pack but it was far too slow for a 48v pack. I'm talking 14-16 hours for a 48v pack each and every time.

Thanks for your help guys and all is forgiven. You did explain that the charger has preset voltage levels and probably will not work so good on the 42 volt cart. Time to go shopping for a 42 volt Lester charger.
