Default EZGO Beeping

Hello. I have a 1998 EZGO TXT that I purchased used with bad batteries. I replaced the batteries with Trojans. I have charged the batteries and tested each for voltage (6.2 or 6.3) and entire pack for voltage (37.7). When I put cart into run mode vs tow/maintenance and move the cart, I get the steady alarm tone. However, when I let off the pedal, the cart will beep steadily and will continue to beep until I either switch to forward and press the pedal or switch to tow. Any ideas where I should look?
Thanks!

according to what you just wrote above....its doing this when you are in reverse, and when you put it in FORWARD it stops..... well that's what its SUSPOSED TO DO. what you are hearing is the REVERSE buzzer/alarm

I'm not sure about that. I've never had a cart that continues to beep once it is taken out of reverse gear. It will continue to beep until the pedal is pressed.

well if it continues to beep AFTER you take it out of reverse, then something is out of adjustment, such as the cam or the actual micro switch.

At 37.7V, you new batteries are only partially charged (about 85% SoC) and a DCS controller does not have a low voltage cut-off, so it is vulnerable to low voltage situations. Unless you are not charging the batteries after each use as you should be doing, you may have a charger issue.

As for the beeper, one side of it is connected directly to the battery side large terminal on the solenoid, so it has B+ on it 100% of the time. B- is supplied via Pin-3 on the controller, so if the beeper is beeping when it shouldn't be, you may have a bad controller.
