Ok, I picked it up and brought it home. Keep in mind I have zero cart experience. I rode about 10 holes on the golf course and noticed on hills it slowed way down on one steep hill it almost stopped. Is that normal?

under charged batteries may cause that .. put it on charge and let put full charge to batteries

What drive system, resistor coil or controller? By the way, what is the serial number?

Resistor coil. The batteries were fully charged. SN is A9322 the charger has a very loud hum after charging a couple of hours but seems to work ok. It is a lestronic ii

Old chargers hum = no harm in that until the neighborhood complains!

Let the charger finish & shut off on it's own each time. Have you checked the water in the batteries yet?

I have not. I looked at them as they were charging and the tops of a few of them are wet so I assume they are gassing?

Assume nothing. Water should be 1/4" above the lead plates.
