aCCU pOWER bATTERY cHARGER
I just connected my old Accu Power 13800 36-volt DC charger to my cart like I always do and instead of the usual click, hum and charging --- nothing happens. The batteries are not terribly discharged... I then checked the 120-volt AC power to the charger and it is fine.
What is the first thing I should check? Does the model 13800 charger have an internal fuse or is there a fuse on the cart that would cause the charger not to work? I don't have another 36-volt charger or 36-volt cart to test... Help meeeee?!?!?!?!?! |

Re: aCCU pOWER bATTERY cHARGER
Additional Information:
I checked the relay in the Accu Power charger and found that the two black wires on the relay does not show continuity. So far so good? I then connected the 36-volt connector to the cart (without 120-volt power to the charger) and checked to see if there was now continuity as there should be. But, it did not show continuity... This might be due to the relay being bad, OR maybe (???) the connection between the charger and the cart's batteries is not good? Not sure what I should check next... |
