Default battery voltage meter

I have 2011 ezgo rxv and I have a digital battery volt meter from Scottyb's. I would like to connect it to the ignition forward /reverse switch but I am not sure of how it's done. can anyone give me some straight forward assistance?

I'm pretty sure there was another thread on this within the last couple of days. I'm not great at searching the site, but try the search feature. Or, another option may be to look up Bob Boyce and go to his recent posts. He is one of the experts on here and seems to know the rxv inside and out. If I remember correctly, he responded to the thread I'm talking about.

I know just enough to be dangerous. That said, I do a lot of reading here at BGW. And if there is one universal truth about an RXV, it's don't connect anything to the ignition switch. I'd suggest you connect to the battery pack and use a simple switch to turn it off and on if that's what your goal is.

The link I was talking about is below. I found it just a bit down from your thread. Hopefully it has what you need. If I was an rxv guy I'd still read everything from Boyce. I said before that he seems to know the rxv well, it's more like the dude designed them.

Good luck.

Hook the negative to the pack B-, hook the positive to the large terminal on the solenoid that goes from the solenoid to the controller. This will give you switched operation. The solenoid is on whenever the key is on. I suggest leaving the key switch alone.
