Slow forward ok in reverse
Just finished a lift kit and tire up grade, also 4 of the 6 new batteries, Buggy goes very slow with no torque in forward, but reverse seems to do pretty good. Any ideas on what to check? I'm a nooby so I'm pretty lost. Thanks

Re: Slow forward ok in reverse
If it has a factory controller could be the speed sensor.

Re: Slow forward ok in reverse
The reversing microswitch is likely activating in forward, try reversing the A1 and A2 wires at the motor and see how it works then.

Re: Slow forward ok in reverse
2 marginal batts will damage new batts! you need to check the 2 marginal batts, individually, to see if they drop under load-if they do -replace and you should be good...
might be something else-but check your batts first. i understand saving $$$, but you cant cut corners on batts with out risk. good luck and tell us what you find. |
