It takes the controller several 0-100% throttle run ups to auto calculate your signal to it's range. If the problem persists I would suggest you replace the MCOR.
I prefer the throttle ramp be set in a bell type curve so it ramps slower at the beginning of the pedal travel and quicker in the later part of the pedal travel. The example below is a little extreme but you get the idea

Took the cart for another ride. Did great, until I put it in reverse for more than about 5 seconds. Now the buzzing that won't stop. This controller upgrade has been just full of problems.

Can you look at the Controller LED when the cart is misbehaving and report the LED status as listed in the operators manual page 28

Unfortunately, there was a piece of sheet metal that the old controller rested up next to that didn't allow for me to mount the controller vertically. In order for the wires to connect horizontally, the led had to be positioned on the bottom and is not visable once the batteries are installed.

Match that code to the blink code table in the back of your manual.
The # of blinks give the throttle setting and solid green means good to go.
The LED should turn orange or yellow at full pedal. when the cart is misbehaving there may be a fault code showing... see your manual.

The controller is acting as it should. Green once it's on, and changes color at full throttle. Never get a red signal.

I think I have located the source. The B+ (yellow/green wire) when I push down fairly good on the connection to the controller. The buzzing stops completely. That is in both in gear or in reverse (no reverse buzzer when in reverse) when this wire is let up on, the buzzing returns. Any idea on what is causing this?

Just got a 2014 precendent. It tops out at 17 mph. For those that only installed the XCT 300 controller - you kept your stock motor and cables? Speed is 23ish? No reliabiloty issues? Thanks
