Default Throttle issue (2012 text)

When monitoring my cart through the alltrax program I noticed my throttle is constantly stuck at 30%. I've already replaced the ITS. Any other thoughts so I have full range from 0-100? Makes for a very jerky start. Something else must be wrong.

Check the 4 wire Molex connector, which is located in front of the controller, and can be found by tracing the cable from the throttle box to the wiring harness. But, given that your cart is just a baby, this is not likely to be your problem.

I'd just unplug it and replug it, and see if that helps. If it does, spray some contact cleaner and plug/unplug/plug a few times.

Well the first controller I had failed (alltrax couldn't say why) and fried the motor. I am thinking it might have something to do with that and maybe it shorted out something in that wiring harness as well. Think I might have to replace that molex connector then. Anyone got a wiring diagram?

Here is the service manual, but the wiring diagram isn't as good as the one from Alltrax, also attached.

You need to go to the TOOLS menu and enable EDIT THROTTLE TYPES.

Everybody with any suspicion of throttle pathway problem is just eliminating the molex connector with either soldered or crimp connections. There are only 4 wires in the plug.

No. The wires go where they currently go, however without the plug in between. DON'T fuse all eight wires together.
