Default XCT Controller questions

1] Does the Alltrax Toolkit, Throttle tab, Drive Style - Turf or Street selection affect the top speed or torque?

I understand the Turf selection will help prevent spinning the tires on grass or gravel. Will it also affect acceleration on pavement?

2] Precisely what does the Turbo selection do?

Default Re: XCT Controller questions

I think at the end what the "Turf" mode does is to limit the acceleration to some predefined maximum traction value.

It is supposed to take in consideration all of your parameters: torque curve, speed curve and throttle rate, so it may affect you different depending on your settings.

The turbo mode allows for more low end torque and more upper end speed, likely by adjusting the field current higher at low rpms and lower at high rpms.
