Default Ez go medalist loss of power

Good day, I’m having a problem with my ez go medalist cart. The batteries show a good charge. It will take off strong and run good for several minutes before slowing to a crawl and finally completely stop. I can let the cart sit for a while and drive it again with the same results. I replaced the battery cables themself because they looked in bad shape. Thanks for any help

It sounds like maybe your controller is overheating or possibly a battery issue. Which drive system do you have? Series or DCS? Have you checked the battery voltages after it quits?

I am unsure of the drive system it has, guess I’ll have to do some research on that as well. The battery voltage holds good around 37.5-38v.

By that diagram it would appear I have a series. One other thing I noticed using my volt meter is the solenoid has power on both sides at all times, idk if that would affect anything or not.

How do the cable and ends to the motor and controller look?

That is probably normal if it has a resistor on it. Does it click when you push the pedal?
