Battery charge
36 volt txt new tojans .cart is stored charged and let set 24 hours total voltage is 38.3 volts is this good to go till next month stored in unseated barn and I jest got them a month before winter.Wife will lose it if I ruin them and never even ran it.Thank for help

The self discharge rate of new batteries may be a bit slower than mature ones, so if you live close enough to the barn to visit the cart more than once a month, check the pack voltage every week or so and recharge as needed.
The general rule of thumb is to never let them sit when the SoC (State of Charge) is 70% or less, but it certainly doesn't hurt to not let the get that low. |
