Re: EZ GO Workhorse Jumps
I would say a loose connection in the power pack, either batteries, batteries to coil, or batteries to controller. You so batteries are new, did your cart do this before you changed the batteries?

Re: EZ GO Workhorse Jumps
I'm pretty sure it is a sepex drive, so swapping wires of the F/R switch didn't do anything except change the position of the rocker switch for F and R. In other words the voltage telling the controller to run in forward or reverse mode was still being applied to the same pins on the controller. Reverse mode translates throttle position to 1/2 of the pedal's physical position, so the motor is not allowed to draw as many amps in R than it can in F.
If you can identify which controller is in the cart, I can probably find a schematic for it. I suspect it is a Curtis 1206HB, the same that is used by a TXT-48, but it might be a 1264 or 1268. You'll probably have to remove the controller cover to figure out which one. |
