RXV Electric Throttle pedal mismatch?
Got an interesting problem here. Trying to replace an EZGO RXV Electric throttle pedal assembly on a 2008 cart. Pictures show a discrepancy for the plugs that come off the back of the pedal. I probably broke the old plug trying to remove it. Perhaps I need an upgraded pigtail to utilize this new throttle assembly? Is there such a part?

If you want to do the old "cut & paste" I'll send you the plug you need.

Re: RXV Electric Throttle pedal mismatch?
More research has found this to be true. That's not a plug, it's the switch itself. I should not have tried to disassemble it. My bad. But that's how we learn. I cant reassemble it as two springy copper things flew out and i have NO idea how they work. It's headed to the spares pile as I'm not 100% convinced it's bad yet.

Re: RXV Electric Throttle pedal mismatch?
Package received, thank you, Tony! Now for the questions, lol. Just check my logic please.
The new plug B fits the new pedal B, but it only has two wires coming from it. The old plug A has four wires coming from it, two reds and two browns. When I follow this wire to the harness I notice that the harness ignores the two brown wires. So, I make the connections up using the red wires from the A plug to the red and blue wires from the B plug. Simple SPST switch operates correctly. Make sense? |

Re: RXV Electric Throttle pedal mismatch?
The plug on the cart side has only 2 wires. Attach your new pigtail to your old plug on the 2 wires corresponding to the 2 that exist on the cart plug. Easy.
Not totally sure, but it looks like its gonna be the 2 red wires. |
