Turn signals inop Ez Go Txt

I have a 2009 TXT Freedom I bought used. The turn signals don’t work, all other lights do work including the brake lights. I checked for power to the flasher, it’s good going in (12.6v) but never sends power out no matter what I do. I made a jumper wire to bypass the flasher And turned on the signals one side at a time and all the lights all worked. It had a “electronic” flasher plugged in originally, and I assumed it was bad. I went to a Napa auto parts and got a new one. All they had was another “electronic” flasher. It’s in a clear case with a circuit board and what looks like diodes and resistors. I plugged the new one in and the signals still don’t work. Am I missing something? Are these “electronic “ flashers to complicated for this circuit or does EZ GO require a special flasher. I am assuming it’s a flasher issue when I can bypass the flasher and all the lights work.
