My brother has a curtis sw180b 1125 solenoid. Would that work? He has an extra from his navitas AC swap.

No, your 48v rxv actually uses a 36v solenoid. The solenoid is powered by the controller. And unlike the Curtis RXVs, you cant go into the danaher parameters & change it for use with a 48v solenoid.

Put the new solenoid on and it fired right up! Thanks for the help!

If you are using the 48v solenoid, you are drawing 33% more power than the factory intended to activate the solenoid, so start saving money for a controller.
