To get more direct and helpful info, you need to provide the Brand, year, model and drive system type you are working with....

It does make a big difference as some model/configurations are better "starter" carts than others...

supply that info, sit back, and watch the help "come forth" !!!!

Check out Scotty B's site. He has a lot of good kits already on there that should be exactly what you are looking for.

I have a 200 TXT. Well.....in frame I guess. It's a TXT version with a series motor. From what I understand the series motors are "best" for providing torque and low speed. My motor is a D&D low torque motor and it does very well in the hills and mountains of South Western Pa.

Your from Ohio and for the most part.....Ohio is flat. But you still want a setup that will give you good performance at a "crawl" or slow speed.

And Scotty B can set you up with the right performance parts.

I "second" Dave's Scottyb recommendation...

A Controller, Solenoid,Reverser and motor setup from him will be some $$, but
it will be well spent, and a proven combination.

I have his setup in my cart, and use it daily !!

nitro1, here is the hunting buggie I built a couple years ago.....built with everything from Scottyb.

I built this hunting buggie for my nephew....its a DCS but that's what he had and it was FREE!! personally I would recommend a SERIES Drive for a hunting buggie….

Here is a complete run down the build, start to finish and testing after finished.
