Thumbs down Bad inverter?

Hi everyone. I'm trying to fix my dad's golf cart. Through research, I think I've settled on it being a 2012 EZGO Express (model number is TXTE-48V). The problem it is having is that the batteries are being sucked down when it is sitting. I tried finding what might be causing the draw and I found that even when the key is in off position, there is a power inverter that is pulling 1.3A. That's not normal is it? Shouldn't it be a switched circuit?

Thanks for the help. I'm learning a lot from this group.

the voltage reducer doesn't HAVE to be a switched on/off circuit. mine stays on 24/7 for example, my model barely draws a sip though when nothing is asking for juice.

is it possible that one of the fuses that gets supplied from the converter is calling for power constantly? like a radio or something?

Sounds logical. Not sure how (or where) I would test for current draw after the inverter though.

Disconnect the load from the output side & see if the 1.3a dc/DC converter draw goes away
