48v series DS a good upgrade platform, or hold out for IQ?
I was fortunate enough to find an IQ DS for cheap a while back and am happily working away at it, so I'm definitely not asking for me directly. I have a 48v series cart that runs/drives, but has no body/seats/roof. I know some folks that would like to get into carting and have ultimate goals of 20+ mph lifted neighborhood cruisers, but with prices the way they are, cheap carts are hard to come by. Would the series DS be a good option?

It would need a lot of work it sounds like. Sometimes that is not for the newer owners...

It needs work now, yes, but I'll be doing it. I've already acquired all the missing parts, have a spare set of nice wheels, and will likely put my new set of Crowns in it. It'll be turnkey ready, but very upgradable.
