Default High speed Magnet

I’ve have a 2007 precedent IQ and am wanting to get a little more speed out of it. I have thought about doing the plum quick bandit upgrade but I think I want to try a high speed magnet first. Is there a magnet that you all recommend? Thanks for any info!

Magnet works. Make sure you have good batteries. Agree with calling Dave.

I got a PQ Bandit for ours thinking it would be a good rebuild of a 13 year old motor that was going to get a 400A controller.
I didn't know it would come with a 4-pole "speed" magnet replacing the OEM 8-pole magnet.
Mph went up about 4 mph with the Bandit motor.
I think most of the speed increase was the magnet and the motor runs great.
Later, the 400A controller kicked up the speed another 8 mph more.
The Alltrax controller will use either a 4-pole or 8-pole magnet, it's an option in the setup menu.
I think going right from the OEM setup to the Alltrax 400A controller would have been a 12 mph gain, probably more with the 500A version.
The higher amp controllers do require higher rated cables and solenoid.
