EZ go cart doesn't reverse
I have an ez go cart that has been unused for awhile , wenow have new batteries in it , it goes forward fine most of the time , but sometime I have to work the forward and reverse switch back and forth, then I hear the solenoid click on , and then it goes fine, but usually does not reverse but occationally Iwas thinking it may be the solenoid ,how do Icheck

Series or DCS cart? Sounds like you should identify the problem before you use it much more as further damage could result?

How do you know if it a series or DSC cart?

Do you know the year? Tell us the F/R location and if there is a toggle switch under the seat on the controller cover...

I see a bad microswitch and burnt F&R contacts in my crystal ball ....

Thanks for the information. We will look into the possible burnt terminals in the forward and reverse switch.

I was having issues with my 03 pds cart not going in reverse. After all my searching for loose connections I decided to buy a 25 dollar fnr switch and that was the culprit. I wish I knew half as much about these carts as some of the guys on here....
