Converting Powerwise QE to Marathon plug
I purchased a 36V Powerwise QE and was surprised to find out it has 3 wires. My old Marathon charger only had 2 wires. I was going to connect the RED & Black to negative and the white to positive, but I want to make sure the QE charger still functions correctly & turns off automatically when the batteries have a full charge.
Has anyone tried to do this with a QE charger? I saw someone did this with an older Powerwise (non QE) as I stated above (RED and Black to Neg, White to Pos) - however, this was not a new Powerwise QE. Any help would be appreciated. |
