Buy local, shipping will kill you. For the least amount of long term trouble and because it was free don't skimp on Batteries, shop around local for Trojans and then become very fimiliar with the break in procedure and battery maintenance.
Will do....I will start shopping this week....and thanks to everyone for the all the help....I can already see where this is gonna go with just reading some of these post on this site. Remember me because eventually I will be that guy asking....how and what do I need to put BIGGER tires on my cart....LOL....thanks again

Thanks....hope I can luck out and find the batteries for $100. WOW....that is GREAT to hear about the TXT...sounds like I would be stupid to sell it....I guess I will just have to keep it now....lol

Yeah I wouldn't sell it if I were you. If you decide to go the more inexpensive route for batteries, which is Sam's Club brand, you will lose much quality, just thought I'd put it out there. Good luck!

I know of no internet vendors selling batteries and shipping them. They are corrosive and the carriers would need a special permit. Ain't gonna happen that way, so buy locally.

Good point. Sorry about that, didn't think about it. Ignore that part of my first comment :) Thanks Gorno:)

Just wanted to give everyone an update on the cart....stopped by the local golf cart store thinkin' it was gonna be a waste of time, but I wanted to get a price on the batteries so I said what the HAY...!! Right off the bat the guy ask where the cart came from and I told him my neighbor and just by luck he remembered her coming in back in April with the cart to get the controller changed out. I explained what it was doing now and asked what his price was on batteries....he said no way it was the batteries because 5 months ago when they replaced the controller they did a full checkup and everything else was fine. He wants me to bring it in at "no charge" tomorrow and he wants to take a look at it...said it should take no more than 30mins to find the problem and possibly have it fixed too..I guess we will see.
