Default 89 marathon 4" block lift kit????

I want to make my own 4" block lift kit. I have access to the steel, and shop to make it, but I need the plans. Does anybody have the dimensions of what I need to make my kit. i have seen them online and there isn't much to it. \Can somebody either send me, or post a quick print?
thanx.

No, I never did get the dimension I needed. Was planning on some major work on it over the winter but an injury at work kept me sidelined most of the winter. Hopefully can do all I wanted to next winter

I'll do my best to get you the dimensions tomorrow.I built my own drop-axle,but all you need for the front blocks is 2-pieces of 2" square-tube(1-1/2" can be used to give more room for bolts),3/16" wall,3-1/2"-long.Then 4 plates 1/4" thick to weld to each end of each tube. Then use your front spring plate as a template to drill the plates.Use 3/8" grade-5 or better bolts. The tubes for the coil-springs are 2-pieces 4"-long,with the same dimension as the coil O.D.,Then a smaller piece is installed inside, with a similar O.D to the I.D of the spring, and about 3" long. This piece will slide inside of the larger piece 1/2-way,weld it from inside of the larger-tube(underside)so that the joint on top remains flat and square for the coil to sit flat.I'll try to get the dimensions tomorrow from mine(I built them as well).Hope this helps.

Hello toolman, I built my own and it was easy. My advise is use pachanga90 suggestions and if you look at the Golf Cart Pics section you can find lots of pics of lifted carts. Save the pics you find and when you go back and look at them you should be able to zoom in for a closer look. You can use the top plate off your springs as a pattern also. Good luck and let us know how it turns out.

The tubing I used for the rear-spacers is 2-3/4" O.D. for the lift(4" or whatever your lift-height is)The insert is 2-3/8" O.D.Like I said before, make the insert about 3" or so,leave 1-1/2" or so exposed to engage the inside of the coil to locate it,and keep it from kicking-out.Only weld them on the inside of the larger-tube,so that the coil-seat remains flat.Hope this helps.
