Re: Shorted two wires on top of Motor
I stated what we're trying to accomplish... if it does what I mentioned then it's your motor, not your controller. Have you tried this yet?

I called up curtis and they gave me the name of the company who worked with the design of these controllers.... the model numbers only reflect club cars years so they could sell new ones.... what was stated is that they are identical and can be swapped out as the wiring is the same....and the functions are also......ALL FOR YOUR INFO see the e-mail I received from the owner of the company |

Re: Shorted two wires on top of Motor
Ok I have a similar issue a customer tried to
Serivce thier cart and shorted out the two top nuts on the motor. It blew the controller so I changed it out with a known good one! Now my problem is the cart runs f&r but shuts down and beeps really fast. My programer says overvoltage in the faults! I have since changed the motor and controller as well as new set of 12V bats and still the same issue. Any one have any thing else to try? aside from OBC which is a 3.0 I am at a loss and so is Club Car! Oh yea the carts a champion edition 05 Precedent |
