Default 2001 6 inch jakes lift

only the beginning, some things to look for when starting a lift.
Ordered a Jake's lift kit on Wed, the girl on the phone said that it would ship same day! I was surprised when the lift and lug nuts showed up on Thur!!
started on the back, on fri. when ups didn't deliver the wheels and tire on Friday I called Jake's, and the guy told me the tires where being mounted and shipped next week?? I then ask him, "why did she not tell me that?" he said the orders are shipped from different locations. now the neighbors are mad that I have a golf cart up on blocks in my driveway, Now the waiting game begins.... along with spending more money, now that I'm addicted to golf carts

1. keep all bolts loose and flexable
2. loosen the brake line,
3. start lining up from the front to the back
4. line up the wheels
5. line up the back shackles
6. now tighting up every thing
I wish somone would of told me to start from the front and work my way back.

Wheels and tires showed up today, put front spindles on, that was easier than the back, what do you think?

Looking Good ~ Those taller tires increase the load on the motor and require more torque to turn them.
Upgrading the speed controller and solenoid you will allow the motor to draw more amperage and this increases torque.
Getting more amperage to flow to the motor from the batteries requires the pathways be up-sized.
Those path ways are the battery, motor, controller, and F&R cables. 13 pcs in all in your cart. The F&R switch cam is the last bottleneck in the delivery system and the EZ555 HD switch cam takes care of that.
The result is you will have more torque and you will gain a little speed from those taller tires.
