I don't think you'll ever hear anyone here with any experience recommend connecting anything to the buggie's frame. This doesn't apply to gassers, only to sparkies!

Thanks Yurtle!,
Question: I'm connecting AMP. Can you tell me correct way? Do I pull head, connect remote to amp., then connect +12v from reducer to AMP and - from reducer to GND of AMP?
Call me stupid it's all good!

I don't think you should ground anything to the frame on an electric cart. I ran the power and ground from the voltage reducer to my fuse block ( fuse block with ground bus/bar). All grounds for 12 volt go to this bar. I hooked the power and ground from amp the fuse block. I ran the amp remote wire from stereo to amp remote turn on. . I used rca cables from stereo to amp. Then I ran the speaker wires to amp. Hope this helps.

Hey Brown, have you checked any videos on you tube? There is usually something on there for about anything. I left a reply on one of your previous posts on some tips. Just make sure and do not ground to the frame if you have electric.

Looked on utube. Best thing I could find was some cat connecting 2 huge sub. to amp. He used head remote wire and sub. wires direct to amp. and crossed over. Do I need to disconnect speakers from head harness and and wire direct to amp speaker outlets? Do I have to use RCA's? All I'm using is 2 6.5 speakers. Thanks!

Is it your intention to use the amp to power the 6.5s and the sub? It's been a while since I have done this, but you should be able to power your 6.5s from the amp built in to your head unit, and use the RCA to connect to the amp for the subs. In reality, it can probably be done both ways. It all depends on what you want to acomplish.

You don't have to use rca cable if your amp accepts high level input. Unhook the speakers from the stereo and hook to the output side of amp
