What Range can Expect and How to Increase
Just received a 2001 EZGO 36v electric golf cart here in Belize.
I do not know much of its history. With good batteries, what range can I expect? The terrain down here is very flat, the only hills are the speed bumps. I would like to be able to go to the local village but, it is about 24 miles round trip, what would be required to boost the range? |

More battery cells. 24 miles is a lot to ask of a cart. I don't really know how many miles a stock cart with great batteries will go. Maybe you could get to town and recharge somewhere before going home? My suspicion is that with that amount of discharge, your batteries will not last long. Honestly, for that kind of travel, you need a gas cart.
