Default D&D ES-76-51 Motor

Hi all. Forgive the flood of posts, but I just got my hands on a '98 DCS with DCX500 and D&D Motor and I'm starting to get my head around all the parts and pieces under the seat :)

The D&D Motor has the following part number: ES-76-51. I can't find this part number on the D&D site and, in fact, none of the motor part numbers follow this pattern. I'm not sure if D&D changed their part numbering scheme or what.

Anyone have any idea what kind of motor I have? Is it optimized for torque? speed? both? Will it take 48V if I ever decide to upgrade to 48V?

It is actaully maxed for torque and speed. I've been very impressed with the ES 76-51 that I have.

you should be able to run on 48v with no problems.
