Help with an old ezgo motor (6 wire motor)
I have an old ezgo electric 3 wheel. It is a telxon corp model 374x1362. I would guess that it is a 1974 or 1962 from the model # but maybe it is entirely different??? I see plenty of wiring diagrams but none have 6 leads to the motor. My cart has 6 leads on the motor. I tried different leads to try to spin it and can't get it to turn.
I should probably note now that I don't have intentions of using the cart, just want to utilize the motor for another project. Want this motor to spin at full speed, that is it. I have pictures of the cart, and the motor. There is a board mounted to the top of the motor, it has 6 lugs, with six leads feeding 6 lugs on the motor, 1 on each side of the rear of the motor and 2 on each side of the front of the motor. This also has the resistor coils over the rear axle on the drivers??? side (not sure that a 3 wheeled cart actually has a drivers side, lol) and this seems to have some rare 3 lug wheels, might help with dating it. Any help with this vintage work of art would be appreciated. Thanks |
