At the time warranty would replace the head but now Ford has come out with an approved repair kit. Now lets talk about the new 5.0L in my new truck...
I've heard good things about the 5.0s.... but I'll stick with my Vortec!

4.6 in a 2008 F-150. Several hundred dollars later my truck is back to not chugging like a freight train...

Good trucks, but terrible design on those coil packs and spark plugs. They allow water to get into the coil boots and it causes all sorts of trouble. Let me know if I can ever help you with anything like that. I've got a few connections.

Hi, im having a similar issue with my 2007 precedent. The accelerator is very "twitchy", for instance when i try an nudge it up to the wall in the garage it keeps leaping forward instead of slowly moving as i press the pedal. Top speed seems to vary as well, if i quickly let off and floor it again it usually will kick in to top speed. Would this the solenoids be a fix for my cart as well?
