Shuttle 6 build
Thank you for all the help on the boards in researching my Shuttle 6 build. The build has now officially begun. This is what the cart started out looking like. The body is now removed and off to paint, and it's time for clean-up and rewire for the accessories. I'll keep posting pictures as I have them.

Re: Shuttle 6 build
The shuttle has been stripped. Body is off to paint and I just installed the lift kit and new tires/rims.

Re: Shuttle 6 build
Rewired the entire cart so all my accessories are now running off of a 48v-12v converter.
Wired in the following: 1. Headlight / Taillights 2. Turn Signals 3. Third brake light (like in a car) 4. License Plate holder and light 5. Radio 6. 12V accessory plug 7. Dome light 8. Horn 9. Undercarriage LED lights Then I realized I exceeded the amperage coming from the converter so I had to disconnect the LED lights, which are currently running on a separate 12v until my second converter arrives in the mail. Also put in a new set of Trojan T-105 Plus batteries. Time to put the body back on. |

Re: Shuttle 6 build
Had to quickly assemble the cart for Halloween. I still need to recover the seats and spray the roof supports, but we're getting there.

Looking good ~ Make sure you have a fully charged pack before the fun begins.

Re: Shuttle 6 build
Working on recovering the seats. Have some great covers that were made for Tomberlin carts, but a little nip and tuck and these seats are going to be SWEET.
Also, changed the gears ratio from 14.3:1 to 8:1. Now the cart goes 25 mph. Let the fun begin. |
