Default pds cart problems

my father inlaw is having trouble with his cart. its a 2007 pds cart with a alltrax 400 amp controller.

everything works like it should when its working but when it messes up the throttle will just die.

when it messes up it goes down to a slow creep, you can move the throttle around and it don't help. theres no combination as to make it move again.

weve change the batteries, controller solenoid and had new brushes put in the motor.

it only seem to do it when it rains outside. weve checked basic stuff but didn't know what direction we needed to go.

solenoid clicks and forward and reverse works. when it messes up it will do it in forward and reverse.

the solenoid drops out like it supposed to and pulls up like it should.

1. Check ITS box for water or signs of moisture.

2. Visually inspect the entire length of the 10Ga F1&F2 cables. The insulation has a tendency to wear through were they are routed around battery pack framework.

3. Connect DVM to B- and M- terminals on controller and monitor while driving.
When cart misbehaves, verify you get FULL battery pack voltage when throttle pedal is pushed only far enough for solenoid to click.
If not, there is a problem in the high current loop. (High current cables, battery pack and motor)

If you do get FULL battery pack voltage, slowly press pedal to floor.
The voltage between B- and M- should smoothly decrease to zero.
If not, either the ITS isn't telling the controller to pass amps to motor or the controller is being told to turn on and isn't.

I'd take $150 or best offer for the motor. It was removed from an 08 PDS.
