Are you aware that every 12v accessory needs to have 2 wires going to it because there is no frame grounding in golf carts?
Does your reducer have an on/off circuit? If not you will have to make one up.

If the converter has the yellow "Switch Unit on and Off" then do you need a relay or can you run straight to the key switch as the directions say? Does this yellow wire just work as a completion of the circuit to "power on" the converter?
