Not what I thought it would be ...
I have a 2010 CC Precedent Excel with a 6" lift and 23" tires. I wanted to give it some speed and some torque, more so the torque.
I sent my motor to the boys at PlumQuik and they sent me back the Bandit, very happy with it. I also got a 500amp FSIP Curtis controller form them. I then installed a 400amp heavy duty solenoid from ScottyB, and I upgraded the cables to 2awg welding cable. I'm am not seeing, or feeling, the added speed or torque I expected. To be honest, it doesn't seem any different than what I had with the stock controller. Any ideas why? |

What is the FSIP 500 set at? There are 3 adjust screws.

I upgraded all the battery cables and the cables back to the controller. Where are the adjustment screws?

There are no adjustment screws, he is talking about the GE controller...
You need to call PQ and asked them how they set the controller up. There are all sorts of programming parameters to limit current so the controller will not damage the motor. Unless you have a curtis programmer or software, there is no way for you to figure out how is set up. |

He bought it from FSIP. Its a Curtis 1268 controller. You need the Curtis programmer to change/view settings

I have a call into the guys at PlumQuik, waiting for them to get back to me. I'm hoping its a programming issue.
