Re: 99 ezgo goes dead intermittently
Make sure the center pivot shaft nut (nut B in diagram) is run all the way down to the bottom of the threads. This will insure full contact in the F&R. Sometimes this nut will be backed off to make the F&R easier to shift at the expense of solid contact.
You problem may be somewhere in the high amperage delivery system. Sorry system not accepting attachments at this time |

Re: 99 ezgo goes dead intermittently
Yes. Solenoid click is due to the smaller wires. The larger cables are what are switched by the FNR contacts, which can be loose if the nut is loose.

Ok,so I checked all connections again. All good. Jumpered the reed switch. Opened the throttle box, everything looks ok. So here's an example. I jumped in the cart key in, fnr moved to reverse, hit throttle, alltrax lights 4 green blinks then solid green, solenoid clicks cart moves. Move 6 feet, park, turn key off. an hour later I get in again, turn key on, in forward foot of pedal, 4 green blinks then solid green, cart won't move. Just dead. Battery gauge is on,lights etc. Got 52v on the full pack....um at a loss here unless its the actual ITS. If the micro switch in the throttle box was shot the controller wouldn't light........hmmm

Re: 99 ezgo goes dead intermittently
Without rereading this, there are several things to check. Does the solenoid click? If so, I'd look at the four wire Molex connector AND all spade connectors from the ITS to the controller. It could be the solenoid clicking, but failing to make contact internally.
