Thanks Sergio. Glad you came in with that info, that will save me a bunch of wasted time trying to do something that wouldn't work anyway.
I will go back to the mechanical timer in the line with the a/c cord. |

The problem is the Powerdrive3 box, it does not matter what kind of timer and where it is located.
You really need to keep an eye on the pack voltage as it will be an uncontrolled all out charge while the Powerdrive3 box is powered. |

While my DPI was in for repairs I had to use my old Powerdrive3 for charging. The way I could tell that it was time to unplug the charge was when the meter dropped down to 10A from 15A. Also 1 hour of charge per 15 min drive time was about right.

Sergio, is it the pd3, the only charger i need to be that concerned with when charging this way? If it is, i have access to pd 1 and pd2 chargers if they would be better in this sitch?? |
