Default Under cover

So after dealing with the charger debacle, today I decided I would take the body off to finish the wrap, clean the cart from deer season, and a few other things. While riding in the woods and such this fall, I thought about putting a cover of sorts underneath the cart to protect the controller and other components from mud, water, etc. . So after pulling the body off for the first time in a while, there was a bit of dry mud and dust on the components so I went to the local hardware store and bought two thin sheets of aluminum and som self tapping screws and did this. It is not sealed tight so water can escape. Does anyone see any issues?

I would just hope the cables running through the sheet never wear thru and cause a short.

Yes I considered this. I taped the edges with gorilla tape and then found the spot on each cable that would hit edge and taped those spots with electrical tape. So hopefully all will be well
