Default Will it hurt my batteries to not charge for a week?

Noob question:

I am supposed to get my DPI non OBC charger today, but I leave on a trip for 7 days. My all new battery pack reads 49.9 volts ( I did charge it for 3 hours last Wednesday after I bypassed the receptacle sense wire). I do not want to hook it up for the first time and have it run unsupervised while I am away. Am I okay for a week?

Thanks guys!

That depends upon the current state of charge how much use the cart gets in the week you are asking about.

If You still have the sensor wire by-passed, go ahead and use the DPI for OBC carts that you currently have.

Let the battery pack charge until You read +60v from pack positive to pack negative.

Unplug the charger AC plug from the wall.

Unplug the charger DC plug from the cart.

Disconnect the pack negative cable from the battery.

Your pack should be good for a few weeks.

Just connect the pack negative cable when You get back and use the new DPI for non-OBC carts before You drive the cart.

The battery pack looses a max 1% per day so in 1 weeks time the pack will be 7% depleted.... you could go a month without charge without use
