Lug Nut Torque
Hey guys new guy here and just finished replacing front wheel bearings and was wondering what the lug nut torque should be on a 1995 CC DS model

i don't believe there is a torque specification in the service manual....
yamaha service manual calls for a 65ft-lbs on the front and 58ft-lbs on the rear. im sure something around those numbers will be fine. -sj |

If you have aluminum rims with tapered lugs, 80ft-lbs is max! 60 should be fine. Check them again after you put some miles on her.

Scubabud,....Back in 2009 you posted some good results with speed and endurance voltage meansurements on the batteries you had. Could you update that old thread or post something new and let up know just what kind of batteries those were and how they have lasted. Thanks in advance.
