Are you in Georgia? Look for a sweet-gum ball behind the accel pedal. I see it at least once a month.

In general without any knowledge of the cart the parking brake is disengaged by the acc. pedal, and the cart is moved forward by pushing the same pedal.
I would think you need to look at your acc. pedal linkage as it might not be returning all the way to home position.
Possible bent or sticking linkage or pedal assy, stick in it or just out of adjustment.
My thoughts too. Maybe some trash keeping the pedal from returning all the way back?

am i wrong here but even if the brake pedal isn,t locking the cart still shouldn,t move when you just turn key on? shouldn,t start moving until you push the acell pedal down unless theres something keeping the acell pedal from coming back to full rest position.............i just don,t see the brake pedal not locking having any effect on the cart moving when you turn key on????.......................................

The brake pedal isn't locking because the accel pedal isn't returning all the way, because there's a sweet gum ball behind it! He's in Georgia it's very common

Tom you have alot more time under your belt than me so I value your knowledge.
I was just thinking the cart moving slowly and brake not locking, both meant go pedal not returning all the way up. Maybe I worded it wrong in post 3.

(I was told once before that I confused someone!!)
Baawahahaha!

Its def not just drifting like no brake. On flat surface with key off cart will sit still. When key is turned on, the cart will start moving. Turn key off and the cart will stop again
