If you are reading 50 vdc across your battery string, it appears the batteries are atl east taking a charge. You can hook up your charger to the cart and read the voltage at the batteries where the charger is connected. With the charger running, the voltage should be between 48-52vdc. While reading the voltage, have someone cut the charger off. You should see the voltage drop back to the batter's charged voltage level. If not, the charger may be bad.

From what you have said so far, I would bet the batteries and the charger are ok and there is an issue with the cart. Again, at this point, if it were me, I would pay the cost of a professional diagnosis and get it over with before all of us bombard you with enough information that you get too brave and cause you to cause more dmage to the cart.

On line help is great, but it is, at best, guess work with various levels of expertise and you can't see the cart and tell what has or hasn't been done and what changes. I am a strong advocate of getting a professional diagnosis and then getting a little help here fixng the diagnosed problem.

Most shops around here will do a diagnosis (max 1 hour) for $40. Matter of fact, when I took my cart to the guy, he checked it real quick and didn't even charge me. I have a beat up old truck I call "black ugly", so I guess he felt sorry for me.

Anyway, I hope you can get her going soon.

No, it doesn't. Were you able to determine exactly which throttle box you have?

So there are only 4 wires coming out of that throttle? If so its the wrong one. What are the wire colors coming out of the throttle?
